Our process

Eleven stages between your door and your wardrobe.

None of this is secret. If you are handing over a favourite shirt, you should know exactly what happens to it.

Stage by stage

Collection to delivery.

Each stage exists for a reason. Skipping one is how clothes come back shrunk, faded or short of an item.

  1. 01

    Collection

Your order is collected from your doorstep and the item count is confirmed with you.

  2. 02

    Garment tagging

Each item is tagged so it stays linked to your order through every stage.

  3. 03

    Sorting

Items are separated by colour, fabric, soil level and cleaning method.

  4. 04

    Pre-treatment

Stains and heavily soiled areas are treated individually before the main clean.

  5. 05

    Washing / dry cleaning

Each batch runs the process its fabrics need — water or solvent based.

  6. 06

    Drying

Tumble, flat or line dried depending on the garment, with filled items dried fully.

  7. 07

    Ironing & finishing

Pressed or steam finished at a fabric-safe temperature and shaped by hand.

  8. 08

    Folding

Folded or hung by garment type so everything is ready to put away.

  9. 09

    Quality inspection

Finish, cleanliness and item count are checked against the original order.

  10. 10

    Packaging

Packed to keep clean clothes protected in transit, with covers on dry-cleaned items.

  11. 11

    Delivery

Returned to your doorstep in your chosen slot and handed over against the item count.

The facility

Where the work actually happens.

Photographs of the real place do more for trust than any description. Replace these with your own.

Standards

Checked on every order.

These are handling standards, not chemistry claims. We describe what we do, not what we cannot prove.

Stain treatment
Stains are treated based on what caused them and what the fabric can tolerate, before the main clean.
Fabric-specific cleaning
Wash temperature, cycle and process are chosen per item rather than applied to a whole load.
Colour protection
Whites, darks and colours are separated, and anything likely to bleed is tested first.
Professional finishing
Garments are pressed or steam finished at a heat their fabric can take, then shaped by hand.
Quality inspection
Every order is checked against its item count and inspected for finish before it is packed.

Sorted before anything is switched on

One wash cycle is how good clothes get ruined

Everything is separated by fabric, by colour, and by what the care label actually says. Silk never sees a machine meant for cotton, and anything likely to bleed is tested before it goes anywhere near the rest of your order.

Cotton
Washed at a temperature suited to the colour, then pressed while still holding a little moisture.
Silk
Dry cleaned rather than washed, spot treated by hand and finished at low heat.
Wool
Dry cleaned or gently processed and dried flat so the garment keeps its shape.
Linen
Washed gently to limit shrinkage and pressed damp to settle the natural creasing.
Denim
Washed inside out on a colour-safe cycle to slow fading at the seams and hem.
Synthetics & activewear
Washed cool without softener so the fabric keeps its stretch and performance finish.

Handling and care

Separation, stains, damage, and what happens when something goes wrong.

How are clothes separated?
Every order is tagged to you and processed as its own batch, never mixed with another customer's clothes. Within your order, items are sorted by colour, fabric and wash temperature.
Will my white clothes stay white?
Whites are washed separately from colours, and anything we suspect might bleed is colour-tested first. Fabric that has already greyed over time will not be restored to new.
Can you remove all stains?
Not always, and we would rather say so upfront. Fresh stains lift far more reliably than old or heat-set ones. Tell us what caused a stain and we will pre-treat it accordingly.
What happens if clothes are damaged?
Every order is inspected before and after cleaning, and pre-existing damage is recorded at pickup. If something is damaged in our care, our Damage & Loss Policy sets out exactly how it is resolved.
What happens if a garment is missing?
Items are counted at collection, tagged individually and counted again before delivery. If something is missing, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will trace it through the tagging log.
What if I leave something in a pocket?
Please empty all pockets before handover. Anything we find is set aside and returned with your order, but we cannot take responsibility for items left inside garments.
